Insurance industry practices are ever changing. However, we can walk you through every aspect of your insurance claim. One of the most important things to do is call a qualified roof inspector to inspect your roof before you file a claim so you know what type of damage is there, if any, and whether or not you actually need to file a claim. Be careful of roofers that knock on your door and ask you to sign something and then promise you things that sound too good to be true. Because they usually are! We will inspect your roof and then provide you with honest feedback on what we find. If you have damage then we may recommend filing a claim with your insurance agent. If you file a claim then we will meet with your adjuster during their inspection and show them our findings. If they pay for your roof then we will sit down and go over the paperwork with you and explain the process of recovering depreciation and submitting supplements if needed and anything else that you may have questions about. If they do not pay for your roof, then we will submit our own report detailing the damage we discovered and we may request a re-inspection of your roof. But we will be there to help you throughout the process. Once they have agreed to pay for your roof and we are in agreement on pricing then we will have you select a color and add you to our schedule. Once your roof is complete we will handle submitting all necessary information to finalize your claim.
